Why families choose us

International education in the early years, without a waiting list

Many international schools in São Paulo have long waiting lists. At All Together, there is no enrolment fee, no waiting list and admissions are open all year round, so a family that has just arrived can start in the same month, subject to availability.

From age 1, the school day is conducted in English, with Portuguese as support. From age 3, children learn through inquiry-based learning: they spend weeks investigating a question, in projects that start from their own interests. All Together is an IB Candidate School for the Primary Years Programme (PYP), which guides this stage.

She welcomes international families in English, from the first visit to the child's settling-in. The first conversation can be a video call, before you arrive. FAQ

Questions from families

Is there a waiting list? +

No. All Together has no waiting list and no enrolment fee, and admissions are open all year round, subject to availability. Everything starts with a visit; if the family decides, the child can start the same month.

What ages do you take? +

From 4 months to 6 years. The Nursery (Berçário), from 4 months to 1 year, runs in Portuguese. From age 1, children move on to Together I, where the day is conducted in English, without changing school. Classes go by age: Together I (1), II (2), III (3), IV (4) and V (5). From age 3, as an IB Candidate School, All Together guides this stage by the Primary Years Programme (PYP).

How much of the day is in English? +

From age 1, around 70% to 80% of the school day is in English: in play, in projects and in everyday conversation with the teachers. Portuguese stays present too. Bilingualism is a feature of All Together, separate from the IB.

What does IB Candidate School mean? +

All Together is an IB Candidate School: it has been accepted by the International Baccalaureate (IB) and is in the authorisation process to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP). Schools that complete it become IB World Schools. You can check our status in the IB directory at ibo.org/find-an-ib-school.

What are the school hours? +

Half day (7 a.m. to 12 p.m.), extended half day (to 3 p.m.), full day (to 5 p.m.) or extended full day (to 7 p.m.), Monday to Friday. After School activities run in the afternoon, inside the school.

Can the whole admissions process be done in English? +

Yes. The first conversation can be a video call before you arrive in Brazil, and everything from the visit to enrolment can be done in English. Rani Macedo, our IB Candidate Coordinator, looks after international families in English throughout.

Can my company pay the tuition? +

Yes. Tuition can be paid directly by the family's employer.

What is the adult-to-child ratio? +

One adult for every three babies in the Nursery; one for every five children in Together I and II; one for every six in Together III; one for every seven in Together IV and V. This includes teachers and support staff who stay with the group.
